Children's Ministry
Nursery and Children's Church are provided during the Worship Service, giving them an opportunity to learn, sing, and play in a safe and loving environment.
Youth Ministry
Fun activities and Bible study are offered for students in grades 6-12.
Adult Ministries
Adults of all ages are welcome to attend Java with Jesus and Morning Worship on Sunday mornings, and Bible study on Wednesday evenings, as well as other activities, outings, and ministry activities designed to provide fellowship, encouragement, and support in your Christian journey.
Worship & Music
With a blend of contemporary praise and worship and traditional hymns, there's something for everyone. Do you sing? Join the choir!! Do you play an instrument? There's a place for you! There are plenty of opportunities for you to use your gifts and talents to serve the Lord and enhance the worship experience for the entire congregation.
MEET OUR PASTOR
Dr. Mike Dunn serves as our Interim Pastor. He and his wife Shari live in Oakboro and have two daughters, a son-in-law, and a grandson. They also have hosted a total of 15 international students, so they have 'kids' from seven countries around the world.
In addition to serving First Baptist Stanfield, Pastor Mike also teaches Bible at Concord Academy. He graduated from Wingate College, received his master's degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and earned his doctorate from Liberty University.
